  Una trama interesante mal hecha // An interesting plot poorly executed.

  ___Un manga que presentaba una idea interesante del asistente de Black Clover, donde intenta mostrar una idea que nadie quiso.___ Guardian de la bruja es un manga que presenta un mundo asolado por demonios, donde las ciudades usan el poder de las brujas de sus tierras para sobrevivir, y ellas viven en torres protegidas por su caballero elegido. En la tierra de Berna vive Manasfa, una bruja de fuego, que es protegida por el caballero más fuerte de toda la ciudad, Fafner. La historia nos cuenta cómo Manasfa es tan poderosa que no se necesitan caballeros ni nada, algo que Fafner detesta, mostrando que solo es el recadero de la bruja, cumpliendo sus peticiones y deseos. Hasta que el Santo Padre de Berna le explica a Fafner que tiene que matar a Manasfa por tener la semilla del diablo. Sabiendo esto, Fafner, esperando el mejor momento, escucha que realmente el destino de todo guardián es acabar con la vida de las brujas. Al saber esto, Fafner decide abandonar su puesto y ser el guardián de Manasfa y cumplir su deseo: ser la última bruja de todas. Con esto inician un viaje entrenando a Fafner para ser un mejor caballero y poder cumplir el deseo de Manasfa, además de luchar contra otros caballeros y brujas que tampoco desean desaparecer de este mundo como se les ha dicho siempre Sabiendo esto y viendo la idea inicial, presenta una idea interesante, pero a la que le falta algo: otro mundo mágico, donde atacan demonios y la magia en realidad está mal vista, salvo para el interés humano. El estilo artístico tampoco es algo que lo haga tan llamativo, siendo un estilo de personajes realmente habitual y nada novedoso. Es un buen intento de manga, pero realmente si desarrollase la idea mejor, podría llegar a ser algo increíble muy seguramente. Tristemente nunca se sabrá, ya que este manga fue cancelado con solo 19 capítulos. El autor, como digo, ha bebido mucho de la historia que presenta Black Clover en cuanto a magia, causando que sea una comparativa más y una competencia desafortunadamente perdida desde el inicio. Actualmente el autor trabaja en otra obra de magia fantástica, parece que su principal amor se centró en los mangas de magia fantasiosa medieval. Realmente Majo no Moribito fue de esos mangas que salieron durante la época de pandemia y que ayudaron a entretener a algunas personas, pero tristemente no hizo lo suficiente para ello. Insisto, con un buen desarrollo, una mejor construcción del mundo y posiblemente una mejor relación entre los protagonistas, podría no haber sido una completa locura, pero tal vez debería haber durado hasta los 100 capítulos. --- ___A manga that presented an interesting idea from the assistant of Black Clover, where it tries to show an idea that nobody wanted.___ Guardian of the Witch is a manga that presents a world ravaged by demons, where cities use the power of the witches from their lands to survive, and the witches live in towers protected by their chosen knight. In the land of Berna lives Manasfa, a fire witch who is protected by the strongest knight in the entire city, Fafner. The story tells us how Manasfa is so powerful that knights aren’t really needed, something Fafner hates, showing that he is just the witch’s errand boy, fulfilling her requests and wishes. Until the Holy Father of Berna explains to Fafner that he has to kill Manasfa because she carries the seed of the devil. Knowing this, Fafner, waiting for the right moment, hears that the true destiny of every guardian is to end the life of the witches. Knowing this, Fafner decides to abandon his post and become Manasfa’s guardian and fulfill her wish: to be the last witch of all. With this, they begin a journey to train Fafner to become a better knight and fulfill Manasfa’s wish, while also fighting against other knights and witches who, just like them, do not want to disappear from this world as they’ve always been told they must. Knowing this and seeing the initial idea, it presents an interesting concept but lacks something: another magical world where demons attack and magic is actually looked down upon except when it serves human interests. The artistic style is also not particularly striking, featuring a very typical and unoriginal character design. It’s a good manga attempt, but if the idea had been better developed, it could very likely have become something incredible. Sadly, that will never be known since this manga was cancelled after only 19 chapters. The author, as I said, borrowed heavily from the magical story presented in Black Clover, causing it to be just another comparison and unfortunately a lost competition from the start. Currently, the author is working on another fantasy magic work, and it seems their main passion is centered on medieval fantasy magic manga. Really, Majo no Moribito was one of those mangas that came out during the pandemic era and helped entertain some people, but sadly it didn’t do enough for that. I insist, with good development, better world-building, and possibly a better relationship between the protagonists, it might not have been a complete mess — but maybe it should have lasted up to 100 chapters. ---------------
