Pls dont read this, the predator gets rewarded with everything he wants with 0 consequences & no justice for the victim
If I can spare even just one person from reading this then its worth it, but please for the love of god if your planning on reading this DONT. The only reason I bothered to read it [until I dropped it] was to see if it was as bad as a youtuber reviewing it said it was and my god...it was even WORSE than they described.

So lemme spare you the long winded break down of why you shouldnt read this and just give it to you straight, what the synopsis says is exactly what your gonna get, but it leaves out some VERY important details and context that once you find out makes this entire situation even MORE fked up than it already was.

To spare you reading to find that out, I'll just tell you here and you be the judge.

Their not biological brothers, yet still for a good portion of time was raised together, however Woo-yeon hates Woo-jin for some unknown reason and despite Woo-jin's efforts Woo-yeon refuses to give him a chance to be close to him, causing Woo-jin to become frustrated and angry. Fast forward, Woo-jin finds a book on hypnosis and decides to test it out on Woo-yeon without his knowledge just to see if it works, and it did. The trigger word is 'Lets Play' and initially he only used it just to make him chill out and be nice to him since that was the only time he actually listened to him.

Then Woo-jin eventually gets the brilliant idea that since hes so obedient, he wonders if he'll even be obedient about THAT, which to no surprise he was, and from then on that became the norm but at the time it was just oral sex and not actual sex yet. Woo-yeon had a crush on a guy, Woo-jin knew this, and when his pos step brother learned of this and that Woo-yeon might actually start being intimate with him, Woo-jin uses the trigger word and convinces him to have sex with HIM instead and that HE needs to be the one to take his virginity, essentially raping him because he didnt actually consent, hes literally incapable of giving actual consent because he'll do anything Woo-jin tells him to when he uses the trigger word. So yea, this is full blown rape now, not that it wasnt before, but now its REALLY rape. This also becomes the norm after this, all the while knowing who Woo-yeon truly likes and doing everything in his power to make sure they dont be together because of his own selfish desire to possess him.

Ok now that all thats out of the way I can tell you why this is even more fked up than just what the synopsis includes, because there is a point where the pos actually gets a sob story of how he tried to be close to Woo-yeon but got rejected everytime, that Woo-yeon was the problem, that HE was the one in the wrong for being so mean to him for no reason, so its 'understandable' why he was so frustrated and went this far cuz no matter what he did Woo-yeon always rejected him, so this was his only sick twisted way to finally have a 'good' relationship with him.

Thats strike 1, literally trying to justify his actions with a sob story and implying it was Woo-yeon's fault that this is happening to him, that if he had just been nicer to Woo-jin none of this would've happened.

Strike 2
They try to paint the pos even more as the victim, because at one point after a big falling out when Woo-yeon RIGHTFULLY doesnt listen to him after he had tried to messed up his relationship with the guy he liked, Woo-jin uses the trigger word and decides hes gonna make Woo-yeon remember everything while their in the middle of sex to completely and totally traumatize him, but theres more to it than that.

The entire time Woo-jin's been doing this, hes been trying to make the hypnosis blend so well in Woo-yeon's psyche that his brainwashed self becomes his normal self, which initially after he traumatized him by revealing what they've actually been doing it doesnt work, Woo-yeon still hates him and is disgusted by the whole thing.

However the brainwashing is still somewhat in effect, so when Woo-jin uses the trigger word and has sex with him as usual Woo-yeon now gets sick and throws up because his real self is repulsed by it. Seeing this, Woo-jin's once again painted as a sympathetic victim who 'cares' and realizes that he truly is repulsed by him, the brainwashing works, but his true self hates this and is repulsed by him, so Woo-jin decides to 'let him go' and I kid you not this is treated as some sort of noble act, like he just did him a favor, like he freed him and will no longer do it so his hands are 'clean' now and whatever happens now will be entirely Woo-yeon's fault.

You can probably already guess what happens, yea, he was successful in making his brainwashed self and normal self mesh together just well enough to where he actually WANTS to have sex with him and isnt repulsed by him anymore, even though he tries to resist those urges because he hates him, he still wants him because thats what he's been INSTRUCTED to want.

Remember how I said the pos was presented as being selfless and 'letting Woo-yeon go' because he saw how repulsed Woo-yeon really was by him and how wrong this was? yea it was all bs, because Woo-jin sees that Woo-yeon is still semi brainwashed and trying to fight it but cant because Woo-jin done messed with his head so much. So what do you think Mr. noble does? he definitely doesnt fess up, no instead Woo-jin blames HIM saying that he GAVE Woo-yeon a chance to run away and be free from him but he didnt take it, so now it totally justifies him having sex with him now in his clearly still half brainwashed state because hey he tried to let him go right? he tried to do the 'right thing' but it was Woo-yeon's fault for not running with his selfless act so now the rape is OK because now Woo-yeon's consenting partially in his right state of mind [which he isnt but thats really how they try to justify Woo-jin's continuous rape from there]

Strike 3,
There are several times where he feels something is off and notices blanks in his memory that doesnt make sense, he's extremely close to realizing whats been done to him but he gets interrupted, eventually so many times he stops questioning it because of all the thorough brainwashing I mentioned above.

Strike 4
And this was the worst of it and where I dropped it cuz that was the end of the chapters released at the time.

Eventually the guy Woo-yeon likes, they manage to confess and officially start dating much to Woo-yeon's joy, the problem? he cant be intimate with him because the pos brainwashed him to only want and be aroused by him, so when the BF tries Woo-yeon ends up avoiding it and leaving in a hurry, then eventually runs into the pos and they hook up in the bathroom [I should emphasize that despite his somewhat 'consent' now, it is still ALWAYS Woo-jin who initiates the sex, even if Woo-yeon is wanting it as well he's never the one who makes the first move, because he hates him and denies his attraction until the pos moves in on him and Woo-yeon allows it as he's been brainwashed to do] somebody walks in and its semi implied its his now BF.

And thats where I dropped it, that was the last chapter that had been released at the time and I couldnt have been happier, this shit was disgusting and repulsive in every possible way, and no I dont have a problem with dark media and topics like this being explored.

No, my problem is that its being REWARDED, that its being JUSTIFIED, that there is LITERAL FKING VICTIM BLAMING and sympathy given to the got danm predator like HES the victim when HE brainwashed his own step brother and has raped him repeatedly ever since. Woo-jin's treated as the victim, that it was Woo-yeon's fault for not being nicer to him, that HE brought this on himself, it is always and I literally mean ALWAYS Woo-yeon's fault, Woo-jin never takes responsibility or accountability for his actions, he never owns up to what he did [that I know of, like I said I dropped it] and worst of all I read the comments just to see what they said and turns out their actually caught together by the parents and nothing is done about it apparently.

Im done...I seriously can not understand how anyone could write something like this and romanticize it, how anyone could actually write the predator as the victim and actually blame the victim for whats being done to them without their knowledge or consent? completely against their will? I dont mind stories where the bad guys win if its written well and acknowledged that THEIR A BAD GUY. But in this, the bad guy is treated as the victim, they are painted as being sympathetic, they are who the author is trying to make you 'root for' and justify all his actions, they want YOU the reader to blame Woo-yeon for all this, to say well he pushed Woo-jin to go this far, if he accepted his affection while Woo-jin was just trying to be a good brother then this would've never happened.

Please, if you value your sanity and dont wanna be pissed at an obvious predator being rewarded, getting everything he wants, and suffering 0 consequences, then dont read this, it is not even a good read even for just the sex because your constantly reminded that he's been brainwashed into this, its worse than alot of BL full of rape tropes because atleast all of those are where the characters are in their right state of mind, where they can give and not give consent.

But in this case its just painful and revolting to read because you see a guy with literally no control over his thoughts or actions being raped and abused without his knowledge, his entire life ruined, his chance at REAL love ended, his virginity stolen by his pos brother he cant stand instead of having his first time with someone he actually loved and WANTED to lose his virginity to. This is far worse than the usual BL rape tropes we see in other manhwa, so please, whatever you do, DONT read this, avoid it like the fking plague because thats exactly what it is. Idc if it is fiction, there is a got danm limit, and normalizing this kind of shit is extremely harmful, because it sends the message to predators that as long as you have some type of sad sob story then your fked up actions are totally justified because its not your fault.

Fk this, if there was a number lower than 0 I would give it that, the only thing you can argue is that the art is good, which is a shame that it was used for such a travesty.__
