One night, while working part-time at a convenience store, college student Yamamoto is approached by a female customer in sweatpants at the register. Her name is Hayashi Megumi, a former classmate from high school and the most beautiful girl in the class. Due to her strong-willed and arrogant nature, she was often called a "queen."



Despite their previously strained relationship, as Yamamoto engages in light conversation with her, he notices a painful bruise on her wrist.
