Shiwasu no Okina es uno de los autores hentai más regulares de la actualidad. Ha desarrollado un distintivo estilo en cuánto a diseño de sus personajes, basta con ver únicamente un panel para reconocer su autoría, además es destacable su dedicación en escribir historias capaces de abordar varios números que serán compilados en un tankoubon. En conjunto se nota el aprecio que tiene a su labor, reflejado en su constante esfuerzo, de ahí que también sea de mis autores preferidos.

Aparte de la presente que será reseñada quiero destacar a Nosewasure, Nudist Beach ni Shuugaku Ryokou de!!, Enkou Oji-san o Please! Freeze! Please!, cada una con sus propias cualidades y todas sin duda excelentes, más si quería abordar al autor debía hacerlo con mi obra preferida, que también es posiblemente la más reconocida, Peace Hame. Incluso cuenta con una adaptación de 2012 producida por Queen Bee (y es bastante decente).

Peace Hame se compone de dos colecciones tankoubon, Jou y Ge, en conjunto son 16 capítulos publicados de 2010 a 2012, un poco más de 500 páginas en conjunto y de únicamente una historia, mostrando el amplio alcance de la misma. Y es que la situación daba para ello, la premisa de la historia sobre recopilar fotografías sexuales para el segundo álbum de promoción es ideal para una presentación variada de diseños y arquetipos que Okina abraza por completo durante los primeros capítulos.

Líderes de club, deportistas, dedicadas al estudio, todo lo que pueda ocurrir, aquí tiene cabida. Y el segundo “aspecto” de la trama potencia todavía más la presentación de la misma, su factor fotográfico le permite a Shiwasu tener paneles dedicados a “posar”, sea en los paneles normales o cómo mismas fotografías siendo representadas. Si de normalmente el mangaka debe pensar sobre la mejor manera de ubicar a los personajes y decidir el ángulo según la acción, en una fotografía que casi sirve al mismo propósito puede brindarle todavía más dedicación, consiguiendo collages de doble página de paneles “fotogénicos” con poses, acciones y reacciones de un toque no sólo pornográfico, es también “pervertido”, en un sentido voyerista.

Y cuando no es explícitamente la foto, Okina no disminuye el nivel en el posicionamiento de sus personajes, está vez dedicado al disfrute máximo del espectador en los que destaca las dotes físicas de las chicas en un muy variado esbozo y distribución de paneles, utiliza todo tipo de poses evitando cualquier rastro de repetición, y nuevamente, es genial su diseño de personajes, diferentes tamaño de pechos y altura están presentes, lo último destaca porque el protagonista si es más bajo que la estatura promedio masculina. El montaje de secciones es igual de trabajado, por ejemplo, al final del episodio 3 hay una secuencia que varía entre 5 chicas sin perder el hilo narrativo.

Estas mismas observaciones acerca de su arte son aplicables al resto de la obra, el nivel nunca baja, si acaso sólo sube en según qué capítulos, especialmente aquellos con alguna otra situación aparte del sexo. Lo cuál está relacionado al otro gran componente de su obra, una narración más intrincada de lo que parece, no en sentido dramático (aunque si tiene un toque) sino que es especialmente divertida. Una vez son introducidas las apuestas, exageradas situaciones serán presentadas como una partida de Mahjong, colarse en una casa para dormir con una chica la cuál está protegida por los Yakuzas o un juego de ramas, todo en favor de conseguir las ansiadas fotografías sexuales de la retada.

Hay varias escenas de acción, física quiero decir, peleas sea con Kendo o a puño limpio, es ratificada la habilidad de Okina como dibujante porque demuestra estar a la altura de dibujar perfectamente lo que la situación requiera. En el estilo que tanto ha forjado, se siente en sintonía estos momentos aún si no son la principal proposición del manga, son un genial complemento, un poco carente en el resto de sus obras.

Y nos queda su última situación, la orgía final que a la par incluye a la apuesta más importante de todas. Mezclandolo todo en un sólo momento, sea acción, sexo y comedia, para conseguir llegar al satisfactorio clímax, el encuentro que tanto se había esperado.

Mi única queja está en la segunda sección, con algunas de las últimas chicas de apuestas no hay misma dedicación comparándolas con las previas, un capítulo o siquiera 20 páginas más hubiesen resuelto este inconveniente, sólo por eso no le doy una puntuación perfecta, aparte no tiene nada criticable (siempre que esté alineado con tus gustos). Es un carismático y divertido protagonista, la chica principal tiene una actitud y diseños geniales, al punto que una obra repleta de chicas ella sigue siendo la más destacable, protagonizando una historia que exprime al máximo su premisa y se despide en un agradable tono.

Shiwasu no Okina is one of the most regular hentai authors nowadays. He has developed a distinctive style in terms of character design, it is enough to see only one panel to recognize his authorship, and his dedication in writing stories capable of tackling several issues that will be compiled in a tankoubon is also remarkable. You can see the appreciation he has for his work, reflected in his constant effort, which is why he is also one of my favorite authors.

Apart from the present one to be reviewed I would like to highlight Nosewasure, Nudist Beach ni Shuugaku Ryokou de!!!, Enkou Oji-san or Please! Freeze! Please!!!, each with its own qualities and all undoubtedly excellent, but if I wanted to approach the author I had to do it with my favorite work, which is also possibly the most recognized, Peace Hame. It even has a 2012 adaptation produced by Queen Bee (and it's pretty decent).

Peace Hame is composed of two tankoubon collections, Jou and Ge, together 16 chapters published from 2010 to 2012, a little more than 500 pages in total and only one story, showing the wide scope of the same. The premise of the story about collecting sexual photographs for the second promotional album is ideal for a varied presentation of designs and archetypes that Okina fully embraces during the first chapters.

Club leaders, sportswomen, dedicated studio girls, you name it, there's room for it here. And the second “aspect” of the plot enhances even more the presentation of the plot, its photographic factor allows Shiwasu to have panels dedicated to “posing”, either in the normal panels or as photographs themselves being represented. If normally the mangaka must think about the best way to place the characters and decide the angle according to the action, in a photograph that almost serves the same purpose he can give it even more dedication, getting double-page collages of “photogenic” panels with poses, actions and reactions of a touch not only pornographic, it is also “perverted”, in a voyeuristic sense.

And when it is not explicitly the picture, Okina does not lower the level in the positioning of his characters, this time dedicated to the maximum enjoyment of the viewer in which he highlights the physical gifts of the girls in a very varied sketch and distribution of panels, uses all kinds of poses avoiding any trace of repetition, and again, his character design is great, different size of breasts and height are present, the latter stands out because the protagonist if shorter than the average male stature. The editing of sections is just as well crafted, for example, at the end of episode 3 there is a sequence that varies between 5 girls without losing the narrative thread.

These same observations about his art are applicable to the rest of the work, the level never goes down, if anything it only goes up in certain chapters, especially those with some other situation besides sex. Which is related to the other major component of his work, a narrative that is more intricate than it seems, not in a dramatic sense (although it does have a touch) but is especially fun. Once the stakes are introduced, exaggerated situations will be presented such as a game of Mahjong, sneaking into a house to sleep with a girl who is protected by the Yakuzas or a game of twigs, all in favor of getting the coveted sexual photographs of the challenged.

There are several action scenes, physical I mean, fights either with Kendo or bare fist, Okina's skill as a drawer is ratified because he proves to be able to draw perfectly what the situation requires. In the style that he has forged so much, these moments feel in tune even if they are not the main proposition of the manga, they are a great complement, a little lacking in the rest of his works.

And we are left with his last situation, the final orgy that at the same time includes the most important bet of all. Mixing everything in a single moment, be it action, sex and comedy, to reach the satisfying climax, the encounter that had been so long awaited.

My only complaint is in the second section, with some of the last bet girls there is not the same dedication compared to the previous ones, a chapter or even 20 more pages would have solved this drawback, just for that reason I don't give it a perfect score, besides it has nothing to criticize (as long as it's aligned with your tastes). It's a charismatic and fun protagonist, the main girl has a great attitude and designs, to the point that a work full of girls she's still the standout, starring in a story that squeezes the most out of its premise and takes off on a nice tone.
